FPRM WA JOURNEY

Over the past seven years FPRM WA has embarked on an inspiring journey from a grassroots community group to a fully-fledged not for profit corporation. This transformation has been fueled by our unwavering commitment to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+SB peoples and fostering sustainable community development. In the early days, we operated as a small group of passionate volunteers united by a shared vision of creating positive change. Through community engagement and collaborative initiatives, we identified the pressing needs of our community which layed the groundwork for our future endeavors. As we grew, so did our ambition. 

We developed robust programs and partnerships that allowed us to expand our reach and impact. Our transition to a non-profit corporation was not just a change in structure, but a strategic move to enhance our capacity for service, secure funding and ensure long-term sustainability. Today, FPRM WA stands as a beacon of hope and resilience, dedicated to our mission of uplifting communities and driving meaningful change.
